I spent Christmas here, and I gotta say, the location is super handy. Just a short drive to the beach and some good shopping! The tropical gardens around the place are gorgeous, and the kids loved the pool area. Plus, the bed was really comfy, making it easy to relax after all the holiday chaos.

The rooms are well-appointed and nicely furnished and have great views over lake and golf course and day lounge in room. The location is exceptionally nice and they have parking under ground. Carrara district is worth looking into.

We enjoyed a relaxing night at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort, where the spacious room with a lovely balcony overlooking the golf course was perfect for our family. Andrew at reception made us feel welcome after a long drive. While the restaurant was booked, dining at the bar was convenient. The outdoor pool and wellness facilities were great for unwinding, and nearby attractions like the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens made for fun family outings. a pleasant stay with minor drawbacks.

Relative peace and quiet.
Room not serviced one day. I feel the restaurant is pricey especially if you have a family. One of my swipe keys failed constantly, even when re-programmed.

Wonderful Experience at the Mercure
I was eager to visit Metricon Stadium, known for its impressive architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Choosing the Mercure for its proximity to this landmark was a great decision, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing amenities it offered. The restaurant, the Green, provided delicious dinners every night in a relaxed setting, allowing me to savor my favorite dishes while enjoying a beautiful pool view. The two outdoor pools were inviting for a refreshing dip, and the poolside bar was perfect for enjoying a cocktail as the sun set.
Limited parking availability.

The conference was very well catered and impressed with the variety of foods on offer. Great pool area.
The wifi dropping in and out, both in the conference and in my room (via the router). Noisy toilet cistern.

Staff extremely helpful and pleasant
The room we were in (1208) was definitely in need of refurbishment. The shower over the bath was disappointing, and the black stained grouting very offputting.

The Mercure provided a comfortable stay, with a lovely room equipped with everything needed. The really good service began at check-in, continuing with polite and attentive staff during the entire visit. Breakfast in the onsite restaurant offered a great variety of dishes, and the atmosphere was good with well-maintained gardens and pools. The proximity to golf courses was also advantageous for leisure activities.

It had two pools and the location was great. Easy access to other main centres in the area. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food at the restuarant was wonderful.

Clean, comfortable, staff were helpful and room service menu & speed of delivery was great for a tired solo traveller! Plenty of options for swimming/walking/gym/spa if you have time.
Can be a little noisy in evenings with groups arriving dragging suitcases clacking up & down the paths outside the rooms - not enough to keep me awake though. Also a bit too far away from any shops etc to walk anywhere, need to get cabs everywhere,
